Just came across this page with 10 talks that try and convince us that those veggies are THE amazing things.
There's one on how vegetables can hold off cancer, how if we eat meat only on the weekends we can help save the earth, how vegetables can make CLOTHES (???), how mushrooms might oneday soon replace plastic! There are some cool ones on there, for sure.
But here's the one I just spent the last 20 minutes watching. The speaker: the founder of Kitchen Gardeners International. Here's the gist: Gardens grow good food. And gardens grow healthy families.
And we hope that's what our garden is about, too.
