It's the most wonderful time of the year!
Except if you are stuck and can't think of what to get all the wonderfully important people in your life. You know - ALL OF THE TEACHERS... the dance teachers, the piano teachers, the preschool teachers, and of course, the classroom teachers! And then there's the neighbors. And the mail carrier. And the garbage disposal people (am I saying all these roles right)? Oh yeah - and the hair lady. (That's what I call her, anyway.)
All of the people! All of the people I want to share my Christmas joy with!
Most years, this is a complete far-off dream that I laugh at. It's a miracle when I can pull together gifts for the classroom teachers where my kiddos spent most of their day. But this year, I feel like I might be able to do that, PLUS let ALL the neighbors know I love them because we have a boatload of awesome stuff from the garden, and got inspired to make some beautiful and yummy and shareable things.
Which is why I thought it would be fun to share them with you here. Christmas Gifts from the Garden series...
We've got crushed hot peppers, infused oil, tomato oil, dried herbs... and the list goes on and on. What is really limiting us is NOT how much produce we have... it's how much time does one have to make it?! Hmmm.
So over the next two weeks, I'll be sharing with you these very simple "recipes" so that you, too, can make some uber-simple Christmas gifts from the garden!
